I am very pleased and somewhat surprised to report that last night I was awarded the prize of “Best Newcomer Christian Blog” at the Premier Radio Christian Web and Blog awards. The Bishop of London dubbed this ceremony the first of the “bloggies”. There was fine dining and fine music in the wonderful setting of St Stephen’s Walbrook right in the city of the London.
I was very grateful and excited to have won this award. Dave Walker at Cartoon Church had a better memory than I did and helpfully recorded the following winners list. (comments are mine…)
Most creative Christian blog: cartoonchurch.com -Dave has produced a very funny site – using drawings similar to the Fred style of line art that we all love. He has a great eye for a visual gag – but more importantly his cartoons expose the weakness of much of our church life.
